Jenks defeated Guthrie, 8-2, in a Class 6A Regional Tournament championship game on April 27 and advanced to the 6A Slowpitch State Tournament where it opened play against Choctaw on May 2 at USA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City.
The Trojans entered state tournament play with a six-game winning streak and 27-7 overall record under head coach Todd Williams.
