“He does it all for our team. All the little things that make us better that not everyone sees or reads about,” said head coach Clay Martin.
VYPE Magazine caught up with Seth Wilkins to learn more about this senior guard for the Trojans.
VYPE: Seth, what do you love most about your team and teammates?
Wilkins: What I love the most about my teammates is that they are all in, whether it’s on the court or off the court. Everyone is dedicated to make a change in this program. We have yet to win a state championship and by doing these things it will lead to success.
VYPE: What is your favorite subject at Jenks High School?
Wilkins: My favorite subject in school is most definitely math because I’m good at it.
VYPE: Who has been a big influence in your life, on or off the court?
Wilkins: A big influence in my life has been my coach, Clay Martin. He makes me a better person on and off the court.
VYPE: What does it mean to you for coach Martin to call you an unsung hero of the team?
Wilkins: This means a lot because I try to do everything I can to help our team win. If I’m not scoring, then I’m rebounding, screening, passing, talking, hustling, encouraging my team and leading our team to do great things.
